Rangers are desperate for the three points that could see them leap right back into the title race

Arguably, the biggest game of the day in NCEL Division One sees 5th placed Winterton Rangers host 2nd placed Campion at West Street tomorrow. Having not tasted victory in their last two outings, Rangers are desperate for the three points that could see them leap right back into the title race, writes Ian Robinson, and Manager Scott Hellewell will be a happy man if he gets the same performance as last week from his side, but with a sharper edge up front.

“As much as last week’s result against Parkgate was disappointing, we go into the game full of confidence. We created that many chances that we could have won 6-1 and there could have been no complaints. As I said to the lads after the game, I can’t grumble at the performance and work rate, as on another day those chances get buried and it’s three points on the board.”

“Saturday’s game is another tough one as Campion have been flying all season. We went to their place a few months back and it was a boring 0-0 game and we could have played all night and neither team would have scored. I would be very surprised if it ends 0-0 on Saturday.”
