Chatfield is ringing in the changes as they prepare for visit to Hallam

Every game is MUST WIN for Hallam and FC Bolsover at the moment, so something must give as The Countrymen who are in the driving seat for the single guaranteed promotion spot take on the bottom side at Sandygate.

Joint Manager Scott Bates had a quick word for TBG in between working. “We have lots of games coming thick and fast now, time to use our squad best we can, lads did great Saturday, still a long way to go, but we will try our best as usual.”

While Stephen Whitehead is hoping the crowd play their part, “not expecting a game like the one at the start of the season. I expect that our lads will have to work equally as hard as they did on Saturday; get to the levels of performance which we have this season and get the points tomorrow night.”

“Our squad is looking ok so it gives us a chance to maybe rotate one or two who are suffering with little niggles. Hopefully we get another good crowd through the gate again that can get behind the lads in trying to get the 3 points at stake tomorrow night.”

Whilst visiting Manager Matthew Chatfield is expecting a different game from their 7-0 reversal on the opening day of the season. “After Saturday’s defeat we look to get us back on track against one of the in-form sides in the division, and one of the sides which should be in contention for going up come the end of the season.”

“I think for us we must put in a performance like we did against Campion, if we do it will give us the best chance of getting points. We will be making changes to the 11, as the lads know it wasn’t good enough Saturday and there are players hungry to start and prove themselves; and I’m hoping we will be back to where we were before the massive break on Tuesday night!”
