Real relegation 6-pointer ahead for Harworth

Two successive victories in March had helped Harworth Colliery close the gap on the teams hovering just above the NCEL Division One relegation zone, so Saturday’s narrow defeat at Dronfield Town was a real blow to Manager Craig Spink, writes Ian Robinson.

“After Saturday’s result we have to dust ourselves down and go again” said Craig. “Both ourselves and Wednesday night’s opponents Armthorpe are scrapping for every point and with their three points at weekend, they will be lifted by that.

“It will be a tough test for us but we’ll stick to our plan and, in what is a real six pointer, we’ll go out to get all three on Wednesday night.”
