Craig Spink and Harworth Colliery beat relegation rivals Armthorpe Welfare last night in a tight encounter at Church Street.
Colliery left it until the second-half before scoring two quick-fire goals from Tom Mullen (51minutes) and Matt Robinson (56minutes) to secure the win and move them within two points of safety.
Spink was delighted after the win. “A great display against a well organised side. I thought from minute one we passed it well, dominated possession in midfield and created a lot of chances. The lads said before the game that they would graft hard, they would win the game and they did exactly that.”
“The players deserve all the credit from a great display. A clean sheet to top it off, so we go into Saturday on a high.”
