Barrett is certainly not counting his chickens & expects a few more twists & turns in the race for top spot!

Grimsby Borough aim to increase their five point lead at the top of NCEL Division One tomorrow, but they have to overcome third placed Campion when they travel to Bradford, writes Ian Robinson.

Borough boss Daniel Barrett knows the size of the task that awaits his side. “Campion is a very hard place to visit. They have a great record this season. It’s a difficult pitch and they adapt to that very well. They have invested well and without a doubt have two or three individuals that are up there with the best in the league in their position.”

Daniel is certainly not counting his chickens and expects a few more twists and turns in the race for top spot, adding, “it’s very close within the top five, and teams will definitely be looking at this fixture as they know points will be dropped, but at the same time, both clubs know the teams in and around us have to capitalise on that, so it’s for sure going to be an exciting run in.”
