Harworth Colliery Craig Spink has this morning offered to reimburse the travelling fans, after they lost 7-2 last night away at Campion, a result which leaves them on the brink of relegation back to the Central Midlands League.
“Firstly want to apologise to the travelling support who were brilliant again tonight and I will personally reimburse them all with fuel expense”, Spink said.
“We were masters of own downfall tonight with decision making defensively. Slow start left us a mountain to climb but the half time change got us back in game and at 3-2 we had a large spell of game but didn’t take our chances. Barring the last goal all the others were served on a plate for them. As manager I take full responsibility for the result, we have to dust ourselves down and now need to win 3 from 3. We have to go back to basics and hope for a change in fortunes .
