Rangers need win to keep slight promotion hopes alive

A win for Winterton Rangers keeps them in the hunt for promotion whilst Skegness Town can secure NCEL status with three points this afternoon – so it’s an exciting game in store at West Street.

Rangers boss Scott Hellewell is anticipating a tough encounter. “With top spot out of the question we now focus on a top four spot; and finish the season on a high.”

“Skegness have improved massively recently and we need to put a performance in, after the poor display second-half Tuesday night.”

“Our home form hasn’t been bad recently and we have been getting a few more through the gate, so hopefully we can play how we are capable of doing and get another 3 points.”

While Town Manager Nathan Collins added, “Looking forward to the game and hoping the lads can keep the recent good performances going for the last couple of games.”

“We do need to start taking some of our chances, as we are letting teams off the hook, and ultimately it costs you against the better teams.”
