Rangers Manager Scott Hellewell was happy with his day’s work as he told us afterwards.
”It was a good win today in a game we totally dominated. In the first-half we could have been 5 up, as we created some good chances and defended well. Second-half we got the third goal and took our foot off the gas a little in the heat – and made some changes to get minutes into a few who haven’t had much game time recently.”
“It was a good performance for our last home game of the season and another clean sheet. I think we have the joint best goals against this season which is a great stat to have.”
Rangers finish their campaign with a trip to relegated Bolsover next Saturday, safe in the knowledge that this has been by far their best season since dropping down into Division One five years ago.
