“I am very pleased to get the result against a very hard working Knaresborough side. The lads are producing the goods as we now unbeaten in five with four wins and a draw.
“We set up slightly different as we have in our last three games using three different formations so it’s very pleasing to see that we can continue to get the desired result despite changing our shape.
“We knew it was going to be tough as they always seem to raise there game against us and to be totally honest if they put a shift in every week like they did today they would probably be in a higher position as they have some quality players in that team.
“We are really pleased with how the lads have performed over the last few weeks as our current form suggests. Every game is tough because teams always show up against the Ammers but we’re evolving and learning all the time and credit to the lads for standing up to the challenge.
“We’re not just about the pretty football we now showing the other side to our game which has probably let us down at times in the past. Ferdy and Devonte put us 2-0 up at the break but we let them back into the game with a comedy of errors really which then gave our hosts a second wind and us a nervy ending to the game.
“We have another tough test on Tuesday against Hemsworth where we will be hoping to continue with the same hard to beat attitude.
“Not sure how we will set up though. I haven’t got a clue!”
