BREAKING NEWS! NCEL Division One side announce new management team!

NCEL Division One side Rossington Main are pleased to announce the arrival of our new manager Ben Hunter and his team Sam Parkin and Matt Ellison.

A statement from the club says, “Ben was brought up and played in the Rossington Main youth system before moving on to Academy football.

He brings with him a wealth of playing experience in the game after spells across the pond with Columbus Crew in Major League Soccer and Richmond Kickers, also representing Great Britain in the World University Games. Ben more recently played for Matlock Town and North Ferriby United. Ben played for Rossington Main earlier this season as well as scoring a great free kick in our home defeat to Winterton Rangers.”

Ben Hunter commented, “First of all, I would like to thank the club for this great opportunity. I grew up in Rossington and the club means a lot to me and I know what it means to the village and those working hard behind the scenes.

Rossington Main provided me with a great start and was massively important to what I’ve accomplished as a player. It’s an exciting time and a new chapter as the club are in their centenary year. I’ve always wanted to go into management and considered it carefully with my management team; and there couldn’t be a better club I’d like to start my journey with as a Manager. I have lots of ambitions for the club and I share them with the committee and it’s members. I’m excited and my team and I can’t wait to get started.”
