Former Harrogate Railway Athletic manager Craig Ogilvie left the club with five games to go of the 2018/19 season after a difficult time at Station View, but this afternoon it has been announced that he has joined Yorkshire Amateur to work alongside their Joint Managers.
A statement from the club says, “Yorkshire Amateur are pleased to announce the addition of Craig Ogilvie to our management / coaching team who will work alongside Neil and Phil for the 2019/20 season.”
“Craig is an enthusiastic young up and coming coach who when we knew was available we acted quickly as we know he will be a great asset to our team. Craig has worked with the Ammers before, coaching our U21 side 2017/18 season where he demonstrated his talents to a very high standard, so is no stranger to the club. Also has experience at academy level working at York City and Rotherham.”
“He did a fantastic job at Harrogate railway last season in his first year at this level. He also had other offers on the table so we are happy to have him in place for next season.”
“Welcome aboard Craig . We wish you all the best from everyone at Ammers.”
