After two years with NCEL Premier Division side Penistone Church, striker Kieran Ryan and strong centre-half Tom Brennan have both signed for EvoStik side Brighouse Town.
A statement from the club says, “We have another new signing on our hands with ex Penistone Church striker Kieran Ryan.
Like Tom Brennan, Kieran was a part of the stolen trio from AFC Emley back in the summer of 2017. Kieran has chipped in with and scored a lot of goals for Penistone this season, him being a very reliable striker. Ryan, has accepted the challenge at Brighouse and is set to play at The Yorkshire Payments Stadium next season. We him a few questions about himself and his goals for next term.
“One more signing has been completed for Brighouse Town Football Club, Tom Brennan!
“Tom has joined us for next season and we are so grateful to have him. He began his career in the West Riding Co Am League with Bay Horse. The defender who has played for Penistone Church has accepted a challenge at Town and we are incredibly happy. Brennan signed for Penistone Church along with 2 others as the headlines read ‘Newly promoted Penistone Church steal trio from AFC Emley.’ Now after playing for AFC Emley and Penistone Church and a few others Tom, who is 26, has agreed to join Brighouse after a few successful seasons.
Tom has been dercribed as a ‘strong centre half with an eye for goal and great leadership qualities.’ Tom says he is now ready to push on and test himself at a higher level and is looking forward to helping Brighouse Town push for top honours this next season.
We asked ask the powerhouse some questions of our own.
