Hall Road Rangers are delighted to welcome two new additions who will join the senior management team.
A statement from the club says, “First up is Danny Johnson, pictured with manager Leon Sewell and Assistant Manager Chris Burke. Danny is a UEFA B coach and Head Coach of Hull City Ladies. Danny comes highly regarded as one of the best local coaches who has also played at a level in the UK and over in Northern Ireland.
Manager Leon Sewell had this to say about Danny’s arrival:“Danny is a very good friend of mine and someone that I trust dearly. His experience and knowledge will be paramount to the senior section of the club.Danny will join us as Head Coach and I’m delighted to have him on board” he said.
Danny said the following:“Looking forward to working with Leon & Chris and getting to work with the lads who’ll be in attendance. It’ll be a good pre season ultimately making sure the lads hit their levels come the first League game of the season” he said.
Next up, we welcome Matty Edeson to the club, pictured below with Leon and Danny. Matty joins the club as our new Reserve Team manager. Matty is well known within the club and local area, some time ago as a player and later on as player/manager here at Hall Road Rangers. Most recently Matty has been in charge of Hull Schools and North Ferriby FC under 17’s.
Leon had this to say about Matty joining the club: “I’ve known Matty for a while now and his ambitions to be successful and bring through the local talent is not only important to myself but also the clubs future” he said.. Matty said the following about his new opportunity: “After a couple of seasons away from football, I’m looking forward to the new challenge and the main aim is to progress the lads through to the first team” he said..
Chris added: “Ever since ground-sharing a couple of seasons back whilst with Westella I always liked the feeling round the place at Haworth Park. I’m looking forward to carrying on the Non-League journey with Leon and the club and hopefully getting them back up in a position they deserve to be. Can’t wait for the season to get going now!” he said.
